Getting Started

What is MetricTuner and who is it for?
MetricTuner is an all-in-one marketing, data and artificial intelligence platform built for independent artists, managers, booking agencies, record labels and content creators. It centralizes Smart Links, Pre-Saves, ad campaigns, audience CRM, audio services, VEVO distribution, tour management and legal documents in a single ecosystem, plus it powers a marketplace (Red Semilla) where content creators monetize their videos and grow hand in hand with artists. It's like having a full marketing and collaborations department in a single tool.
How do I create my account?
To create your account, click "Log In" on the main page, select "Create account" and enter your name, email and password. You don't necessarily need an access code to register — you can create a free account right away. The "Access Code" is optional and is only used if you have a special invitation or promo code to activate a specific plan or benefit.
Do I need technical knowledge to use MetricTuner?
No. MetricTuner isn't built for marketing, advertising or programming experts. You don't have to be an expert at navigating all the complex digital marketing interfaces; here you have everything you need summarized and simplified. Each tool has an intuitive visual interface. Creating a Smart Link takes less than 2 minutes, generating a Split Sheet is as simple as filling out a form, and AI ad campaigns are set up by answering simple questions about your artist and your release.
Can I manage several artists from a single account?
Yes. MetricTuner has a multi-profile system. On the Pro plan you can manage up to 2 artist profiles, on Manager up to 5, and on Label up to 25. Each profile has its own analytics, Smart Links, CRM and campaigns. Additionally, the Manager and Label plans let you create team accounts so your collaborators can access without sharing credentials.

Smart Links & Content Gates

What is a Smart Link?
A Smart Link is a smart link that groups all the streaming platforms where your song is available (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon Music, and more), and includes the option to add a merch button to promote and sell your official merchandise. Instead of sharing 10 different links, you share just one and each fan is directed to their preferred platform or store. It also captures fan emails and you can integrate Meta, TikTok and Google pixels for retargeting.
What is a Content Gate?
A Content Gate is a page that offers exclusive content (a download, a secret link or a discount code) in exchange for the fan completing an action: following you on Spotify, subscribing to your YouTube channel, following you on Instagram, etc. It's the most effective tool to turn casual listeners into committed followers and capture their email for your database.
How does the ISRC scanner work?
When creating a Smart Link, you just need to paste your song's link from any platform. MetricTuner uses the song.link API to detect your song's ISRC and automatically auto-fill the title, artist name, album artwork and the URLs of the 15+ platforms where it's available. You don't need to manually search for each link.
Can I customize my Smart Link URL?
Yes. Each Smart Link has a customizable slug (for example, metrictuner.com/link/my-new-single) instead of a URL with random characters. Also, from the Pro plan onward, you can set up and connect your own custom domain (like links.yourartist.com or yourartist.com/single) to keep your brand identity.
What is a Pre-Save and how does it work?
A Pre-Save is a campaign that lets your fans save your upcoming release before it's available. The fan logs in with their Spotify or Apple Music account and authorizes the save. On release day, MetricTuner automatically adds the song or album to their library or playlist, guaranteeing plays from day one.

Artist Intelligence & Metrics

Where does MetricTuner get my metrics from?
MetricTuner syncs data directly from the public APIs of Spotify (followers and popularity score), YouTube (subscribers and total views) and Deezer (fans). The sync is automatic and runs once a day (6:00 AM). You don't need to grant access to your accounts — you just provide your profiles when setting up your account.
What is Total Reach?
Total Reach is the unified metric that sums your audience across all platforms: Spotify followers + YouTube subscribers + Deezer fans. It gives you a quick view of your total audience size without having to manually add up the numbers from each platform.
Can I see my growth history?
Yes. MetricTuner saves a snapshot of your metrics every day. You can view evolution charts on your dashboard showing how your followers, subscribers and fans have grown (or declined) over time. This is essential to measure the impact of your releases and marketing campaigns.
What are Smart Metric Alerts?
MetricTuner watches your metrics for you. When your Spotify followers, YouTube subscribers or Deezer fans rise or fall significantly (at least 10% and 50 followers since the last record), you receive an automatic notification in your notification bell: "📈 Growth spike!" or "📉 Heads up: drop detected". This way you can react in time to a viral moment or investigate an anomalous drop without having to check your numbers daily.
What is the Roster and how do I compare several artists?
If your plan includes multiple artist profiles (Pro: 2, Manager: 5, Label: 25), the Roster view (/dashboard/roster) shows you a comparison table with the KPIs of all your artists: total reach, smart link clicks, pre-saves, gate conversions, captured contacts and bookings. You can sort by any metric to decide where to invest your budget and spot which artist needs more attention this month.

Releases & Release Planner

What is the Release Planner?
It's your release director. You enter the title and date of your next release and MetricTuner automatically generates a work plan with the industry-standard timeline: editorial pitch to playlists (6 weeks before), pre-save campaign (4 weeks before), announcement and email to fans, content gate with exclusive content, teaser ads, and on release day: smart link + email blast + update to your artist page. Each task links directly to the platform tool that executes it.
What happens if my release date changes?
Just edit the plan's date and the entire timeline reschedules automatically, preserving the tasks you already marked as completed. Overdue tasks are shown in red and the current day's tasks in amber, so you always know what to do today.
Why should I start 6 weeks before the release?
Because Spotify's editorial pitch (Spotify for Artists) requires submitting your track at least 4 weeks in advance to be eligible for editorial playlists, and pre-save campaigns need time to accumulate saves that trigger the algorithms on release day. The Release Planner's D-42 → D+7 timeline replicates the calendar professional labels use.
What is the Artist Page (Artist Hub)?
It's your public bio-link page (metrictuner.com/@yourhandle): a single link for your Instagram/TikTok bio that shows your releases, tour dates, merch and a form to capture fan emails straight into your CRM. It supports tracking pixels (Meta/TikTok/Google), visual templates and even your own custom domain. Starter plans and above show it without MetricTuner branding (white-label).

Plans, Payments and Subscription

How much does MetricTuner cost?
MetricTuner has a Free plan with basic features (2 Smart Links, 1 Content Gate). The paid plans are: Starter ($9.99/mo), Pro ($24.99/mo), Manager ($49.99/mo) and Label ($129.99/mo). If you pay annually, you save 20% on all plans. The Pro, Manager and Label plans include progressive discounts on audio services, VEVO and Global Charts. The Pro plan includes 5 Premium Playlist Pitching credits per month, Manager 10 and Label 10.
What are Booster Packs and what are they for?
Booster Packs are one-time top-ups (not a subscription) that never expire and accumulate in your account. There are two types: (1) Email Booster Packs: additional email credit top-ups for campaigns (Launch Pack: 10,000 emails for $15; Tour Pack: 25,000 emails for $29; Label/Festival Pack: 100,000 emails for $119). (2) Playlist Booster Packs: for playlist pitching, with Standard Submissions at $0.50 per submission (packs of 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100 submissions) and Premium Credits at $1.00 per credit (packs of 10, 20, 30, 50 and 100 credits). For example: 10 Standard Submissions for $5.00 or 10 Premium Credits for $10.00.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time. When you cancel, you keep access to your plan's features until the end of the billed period. After that, your account automatically returns to the Free plan. Additional credits purchased with Booster Packs are not lost when you cancel.
What payment methods do you accept?
We process all payments securely through Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record and handles billing and applicable taxes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express credit and debit cards, and other methods depending on your region. MetricTuner never stores or has access to your card data — processing happens directly on the payment platform, in line with the industry's PCI-DSS security standards.
What are the per-plan discounts on services?
The Pro, Manager and Label plans include discounts on additional services like Premium Mastering, Mixing, VEVO requests and Global Charts Registration. Pro gets 10% OFF, Manager 15% OFF and Label 20% OFF. These discounts don't apply to AI Mastering ($5 USD), which already has an optimized flat price.
How can I delete my account and all my data completely?
You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data directly from your profile's settings section or by emailing support@metrictuner.com.

Legal & Contracts

Are contracts and documents signed on MetricTuner legally valid?
Yes. The agreements and Split Sheets generated and signed on MetricTuner use Click-Wrap digital signature, which is legally binding in most jurisdictions. Each signer verifies their identity through a 6-digit OTP code sent to their email. The system records an immutable audit trail with IP address, browser, date and time records for each signature. All documents are publicly verifiable on our verification portal (/verify).
What kind of agreements or contracts can I generate on the platform?
In addition to the Split Sheet Generator (composition and recording royalty splits, available on all plans), Pro plans and above include the Industry Contracts Library with 6 ready-to-use templates: Work For Hire (session musicians and producers), Management Agreement, Booking Agreement for shows, confidentiality NDA for demos, Sync License (film/TV/YouTube) and Distribution Agreement. Each contract is compiled in real time with your data and you can download it as a PDF or send it for electronic signature.
How does the electronic signature of a contract work?
After completing the template, you enter each signing party's email and click "Send to Sign". The system generates a public link (metrictuner.com/contract/...) you can share with the other party. Each signer reviews the full legal text and signs by verifying their identity with a 6-digit code sent to their email (expires in 10 minutes, max 5 attempts). Each signature records date, time and IP as an audit trail. When both parties sign, the contract is sealed as "Completed" and can no longer be deleted. You can see the status of all your signatures in the "My Contracts" section.
Does MetricTuner offer me legal advice?
No. MetricTuner is a technology platform that facilitates the creation, management and digital signing of standard music industry documents. We don't provide legal advice or replace a lawyer specialized in copyright and intellectual property. For complex rights disputes, large-scale publishing contracts or custom negotiations, we recommend consulting a legal professional.

Audio Services

How does AI Mastering work?
You upload your audio file, the system processes it with artificial intelligence in seconds, and you receive your mastered track ready for immediate download. The cost is $5 USD per track. It's ideal for demos, singles you need quickly, or as a reference before doing a professional mastering with a human engineer.
How many attempts or adjustments does each AI mastering include?
Each AI Mastering session ($5 USD per track) includes up to 3 mastering attempts for that same song. This lets you try different settings and advanced adjustments (like changing the reference track or modifying the limiting and loudness parameters) until you get the perfect result before finalizing the session.
How many revisions does premium mastering include?
Premium mastering includes up to 2 revisions per track. You can communicate directly with your engineer through the chat built into each order to give specific feedback. The workflow goes through 7 states (Received → In Review → In Progress → Exporting → Quality Control → Delivered → Completed) and you receive automatic notifications at each change.

CRM & Ad Campaigns

How do I capture fan emails?
MetricTuner captures emails automatically from several sources: Smart Links (when the fan optionally enters their email), Content Gates (when the fan registers to unlock content), Pre-Saves (when the fan registers to receive your release) and your Artist Page (/@handle). You can also manually import your contact lists (CSV, TXT or Excel with multiple sheets — each sheet becomes a segmentable group: DJs, Promoters, Press, etc.) to unify your entire database in your audience CRM, free of duplicates.
What are Superfans?
MetricTuner automatically scores each fan in your CRM based on their real behavior: every interaction with your tools adds points, reaching you through several channels adds extra, activating auto-presave (the highest-intent signal) adds 15 points and recent activity also scores. Fans with 45 points or more appear in the "Superfans" panel of your Audience page — that's your hardcore core: the first to notify about a release, invite to shows or reward with exclusive content.
Can I export my fan base to other tools?
Yes. MetricTuner allows direct export to Mailchimp (with API Key + Server Prefix + List ID), ActiveCampaign (with API URL + Key + List ID) and Brevo. You can also set up HTTP Webhooks to automatically send data to Zapier, Make or any tool that accepts webhooks.
Does MetricTuner publish ads directly on Meta/Google/TikTok?
MetricTuner doesn't generate the audiovisual content (videos or images); these creative assets must be uploaded directly by the user. What MetricTuner's artificial intelligence does is structure the strategy and generate the copy for your ad campaigns (optimized headlines and ad copy), plus define the ideal audience targeting by music genre, age, country and interests. Campaign execution on the ad platforms is carried out according to the integration available on your plan. The system includes an automatic Kill-Switch that stops campaigns performing below your CPC threshold.
What campaign objectives can I set and how does smart automation work?
MetricTuner lets you set up campaigns with 10 specific objectives: promote a Spotify song, profile or playlist, drive pre-saves, promote YouTube videos or channels, go viral with TikTok creator videos or profiles (TTCM/Red Semilla), capture fan emails, or boost tour booking. To optimize your budget, the system features: 1) Golden Window: detection of the critical launch window to maximize initial push. 2) Automatic Kill-Switch: automatically pauses the campaign if the cost per click (CPC) exceeds the threshold you set, avoiding unnecessary spending. 3) Smart Audiences: automatic segmentation into Cold, Warm and Hot temperatures based on fan engagement.

Red Semilla & Creators Portal

What is Red Semilla?
Red Semilla (the Seed Network) is our internal marketplace that connects artists with TikTok content creators. Artists can create campaigns for their music to be used in videos, and creators receive a secure payment for generating that content and helping the song go viral.
How do creator payments (Escrow) work?
We use an escrow payment system. When an artist approves an application, MetricTuner holds the campaign funds. Once the creator uploads their TikTok video link and it's approved, the funds are automatically released and credited to the creator's wallet, guaranteeing that the artist receives the video and the creator receives their payment.
How do I withdraw my earnings as a creator?
From the Payments panel in your creator dashboard, you can see your available balance and your transaction history. To withdraw, you just need your PayPal account set up in your profile and to request the withdrawal. Funds are sent directly to your PayPal account.

Curators & Playlist Pitching

What is playlist pitching on MetricTuner?
Playlist pitching is the module where artists submit their music directly to verified platform curators. There are two types of submission: (1) Standard Submissions (free depending on your plan): the curator receives the song and gives feedback when they can. (2) Premium Credits: guarantee the curator listens to the song and delivers detailed feedback within a deadline. All plans include a weekly quota of standard submissions and the Pro, Manager and Label plans include monthly premium credits.
How do the weekly Standard Submissions per plan work?
The Free plan includes 10 standard submissions per week, Starter 30, and the Pro, Manager and Label plans have unlimited standard submissions. The counter resets automatically every week. If you need more submissions before the weekly reset, you can purchase one-time Playlist Booster Packs from the subscription panel.
How does the curators portal work?
Verified curators have a dedicated dashboard (Curators Portal) where they manage their Inbox of pitching requests, administer their active playlists and configure their genres and acceptance criteria. Curators don't require an active subscription to operate — their access and benefits are tied to their activity as curators within the platform.
How do I become a curator on MetricTuner?
Access to the curator role is by invitation during the platform's current phase. If you manage active playlists with real followers on Spotify or other platforms and you're interested in joining as a curator, you can contact curators@metrictuner.com with the details of your playlists.

VEVO Distribution & Charts Registration

How does video distribution to VEVO work?
MetricTuner lets you request the creation of a new official channel (ArtistVEVO) or upload your music videos to an existing channel. You complete a form with the ISRC, UPC, director, credits and upload the video file. Our team processes the direct delivery to VEVO and you can track your request's status in real time. You'll also have a VEVO royalties dashboard to check your advertising earnings (RPM) and viewing trends.
What is Global Charts Registration?
It's a service where we register your songs, EPs or albums directly with the industry's official sales and streaming monitoring systems. This guarantees that the physical purchases, digital downloads and streams generated by your releases are formally counted in the international hit lists and rankings.
How long does it take to create a VEVO channel and publish a video?
Creating a new official VEVO channel (e.g. ArtistVEVO) usually takes between 10 and 14 business days due to VEVO's internal approval processes. Once the channel is active, uploading and publishing new music videos takes between 4 and 7 business days.
